Claire Warman Bsc(Hons) PGDip(AM) EBW Equine & Small Animal Sports Therapist An Integrated approach in treating Musculoskeletal issues in Animals Claire offers an integrated therapy service to all animals using McTimoney Animal Manipulation and Sports Massage to maintain your animal in its optimum health, performance and soundness. The treatments are safe, gentle and holistic – taking into account the animal’s whole body. To provide the best comprehensive care, Claire works together with your veterinary surgeon and other professionals for example your saddler, farrier and equine dentist. All animals may benefit from a Sports Therapy session from competition horses to dogs, cats and rabbits. However if your animal has been exercise has increased, it may have areas of muscular tension that need specialist care. Similarly if your horse has started to work at a higher level (e.g. started to work at Elementary dressage) a check up may prevent muscular injury. McTimoney Animal Manipulation is a non-invasive gentle physical therapy that aims to realign and balance the animal’s musculoskeletal system. The problem areas are examined and treated by hand with very precise and rapid adjustments, which correct any misalignment, restore full range of joint motion and relieve muscle spasm. Sports Massage works on the soft tissues by relieving muscular tension, improving flexibility and maintaining muscle tone. Regular sessions can also help to prevent injury due to fatigue or strain and most animals readily accept the treatment. Claire Warman is fully qualified and insured in McTimoney Animal Manipulation and Sports Massage. Claire covers Wiltshire and the surrounding area.
